Sonic and Amy Tf part 3

The emerald was glowing and Chase, Jessica and Cody couldn't believe their eyes. "What is this thing?" Chase asked. "I don't know but let's try to bring it in." Jessica said. Suddenly, a huge life size robot came to try and attack the three. "Have located Chaos Emerald. Must return to Eggman." The robot said. It's eyes were dead like. It had gray color metal. Oh cool a robot" Chase said. "Say do you have any idea what this emerald belongs to?"
"Eggman. Sounds familiar. Isn't that the guy from the Sonic games?" Cody asked.
"Negative. Must destroy those who oppose the doctor." The robot said.

"Let's run!" Cody screamed. The three young adults ran from the robot the opposite way.

          Off the three ran not knowing that they were part of fate's corner. The robot shot side ways to the left. Cody and friends went to the right. He shot sideways right with the huge laser like gun, the trio went left. The running seemed to go on forever until Chase spotted a corner. "Hey there's a corner to the left of us. Maybe we can hide there" he said out of breath. They ran out of breath into the corner alley and the robot unwittingly kept straight. The three were totally not wanting to run ever again. "First things first we gotta find out why that robot was here in the first place. And why did he want to attack us.". Cody said quietly. " why are you whispering? The robot is gone.". Jessica said. "I know but you never know when he is coming back. Chase looked through the alley. He's gone. Chase said. They walked through the alley when all of a sudden they saw a man come to them. "You three. You must be the heroes that the emeralds have chosen.". Chase looked at him as if to say"what?"

 "You don't know the prophesy?" the man began.

The three looked at him puzzled. "Chosen heroes like yourself have the powers of chaos. When you found what was in your hands, it chose you." The man said.

I think you got us wrong. We don't have powers. Cody said.
But you do I can show you." The man said.

Freaked out Cody and the two ran as fast as they could from the man. Cody suddenly grew spikes in his hair shaded blue. His shoes went from their usual blue to red with white buckles his chest grew peach fur and so did his mouth at the same time. His clothes disapeared but he gained gloves. Cody ran with his pals so fast he didn't feel the change but chase saw the whole thing.            
"What the?!" Chase said. Suddenly the three stopped.  "What?"  Cody said feeling surprisingly energized.
All Jessica and Chase could do was look freaked out.
