Guilmon TF

There are some things in your life that bothers you as a kid: bullies, parents, teachers, hardships in life.  What if it tore you so bad you wish you could be something else to escape it? Well, that's just young Leo wanted.  He was flat out as miserable as a 12 year old cold be. He was failing math in 7th grade, always in trouble with his father and nothing came out of out except punishment after punishment.  He couldn't take it.  Everyday before his dad came from work he used to watch Digimon on Fox Kids.  That show made Leo happy at times with its characters. His favorite was Guilmon, a digimon who was created by his friend who was a digidestined.  Leo loved his powers of breathing fire and getting stronger each time he fought. When the show was over, his dad came back.  As usual Leo had a frown on his face that showed great hatred. He didn't like when his father punished him for the little reasons. He secretly wished that he was out of this world and into another dimension as something else... or someone else.  His mom tried to make him feel better by strengthening up his self esteem telling him that he can overcome his weakness in a subject.  He smiled but inside he cried.

One day when Leo was out about to take a swim, a boy ran out and pushed him into the water.  He couldn't take it anymore.  He thought of his favorite digimon attack, opened his breath and "blow". Nothing came out.  He felt like an idiot as the horrible boy just laughed and ran off to the inside of the building.  He said to himself, "I wish I were guilmon."

Suddenly, a man came out of nowhere with a  bottle in his hand. "Hello there what's your name? Leo?" The man spoke in a friendly way. He looked like a normal person with blonde hair and normal casual clothes on.  "Yeah that's my name, said Leo uncomfortably.  "What are you doing here?" He continued.  "Where did you come from only students and teachers can come in this area."
"They let me come in because I was instigating the school." He lied.   I can't really tell you how many people wanted to see how great this school really is so I decided to show them." He popped out a camera in the other hand.  I 'm also doing a new drink called Digicola.  It fizzes and tastes great!" He handed Leo the bottle in his hand. As the boy slowly moved the bottle to his mouth, the man decided to warn him of what was to happen.  "Listen kid, that is no ordinary pop," he said nervously.  "That drink can alternate you in different ways that even I can't imagine I am not supposed to have it and let you drink it but you seem like such a nice kid who needs a new life, that as if it can give you that."

"That kid with the drink looks like such a loser." One woman said loud under her breath.  Grown ups chuckled and walked off.  They said something about his father under his breath.  Leo didn't care what the weird drink did. Death or new life he cared not.  He downed the drink in seconds waiting for death to come.  It didn't just left pain and a throbbing stomach.

He ached but didn't cry as he thought of the freedom of death.  Didn't happen.  His body turned red with crimson marks, posture changed. His ears were turning sharp like guilmon's. The spine pulled out and became a tail. The eyes became big and yellow.  Feet turned bigger with sharp nails like his hands became claws.  Through all this, Leo thought of seeing his deceased family members, until the pain stopped.  The man who gave him the potion looked at him in shock. He couldn't believe what he was seeing... a digimon.  The new digital monster opened his eyes and said, "What happened? Why are you looking at me that way?"

"You're guilmon!" The man exclaimed.  "Awesome! Hmm... I should try some of this myself..." The digimon ran to the pool water and sure enough, he saw his reflection... not of a human, but another creature. He was glad to be free of his problems for now until the people that the man with the blonde hair worked for grabbed and digitized him to the digital world. There he has friends and a love interest. His parents never saw him again after that... No not really, the people came to Leo's told his parents to drink the liquid their son drunk and they are with him now fortunately.
